Nostalghia (1983)
A Russian poet and his interpreter travel to Italy researching the life of an 18th-century composer, and instead meet a ruminative madman who tells the poet how the world may be saved.
This was Andrei Tarkovsky's first pellicola directed outside of the Soviet Union. Subject:Broken subtitles
There's a lot of talking and little subtitles. I wonder if I'm missing out on dialogue. I will have to watch this on Youtube with it's generated subtitles, ... where are nowhere near as good.
